Expectant parents spend countless hours preparing for birth. They learn about labour, feeding, sleep and how to care for a newborn. Yet very few are taught how children's brains develop, how emotional resilience is built or how to raise confident, emotionally healthy young people.
At Love Your Life Coaching, I believe parents deserve more than practical preparation for a baby's arrival. They deserve the knowledge, understanding and confidence needed to nurture their child's emotional wellbeing from the very beginning.
Throughout my years working with children and families, one message has come up time and time again: "I wish I'd known this sooner." Parents often tell me they wish they had understood more about emotional development, resilience and the long-term impact of everyday parenting decisions before difficulties emerged. The courses and workshops I offer have been created to bridge that gap.

Drawing upon nearly three decades of experience in education, wellbeing and coaching, the Pre-Parenting Programme equips expectant parents with practical tools, knowledge and strategies that can positively shape family life for years to come. The focus is not simply on preparing for a baby's arrival, but on building the foundations for a thriving childhood and a strong family future.
The programme is divided into six modules, each exploring a key element of raising confident, emotionally healthy children whilst building a strong, connected and resilient family life.

Alongside the Pre-Parenting Programme, I deliver workshops for schools, parent groups and community organisations.
These sessions provide practical, evidence-informed guidance that helps parents better understand their children's emotional development and navigate common parenting challenges with greater confidence.

Workshops can be tailored to meet the needs of individual schools, organisations and parent groups.

As both an educator and coach, I have worked with hundreds of children and families over the years.
Many of the challenges parents face are not caused by a lack of love or commitment. More often, they arise because they have never been given the information or guidance needed to fully understand how children develop, communicate and experience the world around them.
By equipping parents with the right knowledge, tools and practical strategies, we can help children develop the confidence, resilience and emotional wellbeing needed to thrive throughout childhood and beyond.
Whether you are preparing for parenthood, looking for support through your child's development or interested in arranging a workshop for your school or organisation, I'd love to hear from you.
Together, we can help create stronger families, more confident parents and happier, more resilient children.
